この日ものぼり続けました。そして、このためにわたしは強くなってここまで歩いて来た、と思う景色を見ることができました。きっといくつかの山を越えて着いた、とても小さな町のalbergueはオアシスのような小さな寄付制の宿でした。夢のような食料品がある台所で、この国の大停電の夜を、スコットランドとフランスからきたperegrinosと楽しくすごしました。フランスからきたperegrinosは、Nestoという名前のロバといっしょに歩いているチームでした。わたしはNestoを大好きになりました。ここまでの道で友だちになったみんなやNestoが歩いているのだから、わたしも歩くことができる、きっともっと歩くことができる。のこり200km、Nestoの歩く姿は、わたしの新しい希望になりました。

Ese día también seguí subiendo. Y pude contemplar paisajes que me hicieron darme cuenta de que había llegado tan lejos, fuerte gracias a ellos. Debí de cruzar varias montañas antes de llegar al albergue en un pueblito. Era un albergue estupendo y muy pequeño, a base de donaciones, que parecía un oasis. En una cocina llenada con muchas buenas alimentaciones, pasé la noche durante el apagón masivo del país con peregrinos de Escocia y Francia. El equipo de los peregrinos de Francia formaban un equipo que caminaba con un burro llamado Nesto. Llegué a querer a Nesto. Si Nesto y los amigos que había hecho en el Camino, sabía que yo también podía caminar, y estaba seguro de que podría caminar aún más.Aunque había sobre 200km otro distancia, ver caminar a Nesto se convirtió en una nueva luz para mí.

That day, too, I continued climbing. And I was able to contemplate landscapes that made me realize I had come so far, strong thanks to them. I must have crossed several mountains before reaching the albergue in a small town. It was a wonderful, very small albergue, run by donations, that felt like an oasis. In a kitchen filled with plenty of good food, I spent the night during the country's massive blackout with peregrinos from Scotland and France. The French peregrino's team formed a team that walked with a donkey named Nesto. I grew to love Nesto. With Nesto and the friends who I had made on the Camino, I knew I could walk too, and I was sure I could walk even further. Although there was another 200km to go, seeing Nesto walk became a new source of hope for me.
