大きな街に着いたので、5回目の、きっとさいごになるであろう休息日をすごしました。この街には温泉（aguas termales）が沸き、観光地としてとてもにぎわっています。さいごの休息日のぜいたくと腹をくくって、共同のサウナがあるホテルに泊まりました。この街から終着点となるSantiago de Compostelaまで、のこり110kmです。今年から、100km以上歩けば巡礼証(Compostela)を申請することができる、とEl Camino de Santiagoの公式ルールが改訂されたため、この街からスタートするひとたちが多くいました。そのひとたちのこれからの110km、わたしののこりの110km。着いたときの、そのひとたちの110km、わたしの1006km。それを考えると頭がこんがらがりそうだったので、サウナで汗を流し、大きなスーパーでたくさん食品を買いこんでホテルにひきこもって、ずっとテレビを見ていました。外は雨。あと110km。終わりはやってくる。覚悟をきめろ。

Llegué a un pueblo grande y pasé lo que probablemente fue mi quinto y último día de descanso. Este pueblo alberga aguas termales y es un destino turístico muy popular. Decidí darme un capricho en mi último día de descanso y me alojé en un hotel con sauna comunitaria. Desde allí, quedaban 110 km hasta mi destino final, Santiago de Compostela. Este año, se cambiaron las normas oficiales del Camino de Santiago para permitir que los peregrinos solicitaran la Compostera si habían caminado más de 100 km, así que mucha gente empezaba desde allí. Les quedaban 110 km, y a mí me quedaban 110 km. Cuando llegué, ellos terminarían 110 km y yo terminaría 1006 km. I arrived at a large town and spent what was probably my fifth and final rest day. This town is so famous for its hot springs and is a popular tourist destination. I decided to treat myself on my last rest day and stayed at a hotel with a communal sauna. From there, it was 110 km to my final destination, Santiago de Compostela. This year, the official rules of the Camino de Santiago were changed to allow peregrinos to claim the Composterera if they had walked more than 100 km, so many people started from there.
