もしも生まれ変わるなら

さいごの滞在地をはなれ、経由地に明け方に到着しました。そこからまた国内線に乗って次の経由地で一泊しなくてはなりません。この街はどこに泊まっても高いので、思いきって毎日の食費を削って捻出した予算で、ずっと泊まりたかった空港のホテルに来ました。このホテルは1962年から2001年までターミナルとして使われていた建物を使っています。だから飛行機、見放題です。もうたまらんです。この国もこの街も苦手だし、空港という存在が好きなのでココにいて飛び立つ飛行機を見ているだけでいいのです。毎分、飛行機が飛び立ちます。いいなあ。乗り物に生まれ変わることができるなら、寝台特急「サンライズ瀬戸」になって「サンライズ出雲」と切り離されるか、JALの国際線の飛行機になってロンドンに飛びたい。飛行機に乗りすぎてちょっとおかしいことになっている。いま飲んでいるワイン一杯だけで、毎日の食費1日分をとうに越えているからかも。

Tras salir de mi último lugar, llegué a mi escala al amanecer. Desde allí, tendría que tomar otro vuelo nacional y pasar la noche en mi siguiente destino. Como el alojamiento es caro en toda la ciudad, decidí cortar mi presupuesto diario de comida y ahorrar para un hotel de aeropuerto en el que siempre había querido alojarme. Este hotel se transformó en el edificio que sirvió de terminal entre 1962 y 2001. Así que tengo vistas ilimitadas de aviones.Estoy contenta. No soy fan de este país ni de esta ciudad, y me encantan los aeropuertos, así que me conformo con estar aquí y ver despegar los aviones. Aviones despegan a cada minuto. Qué maravilla. Si pudiera renacer como vehículo, me convertiría en el expreso nocturno Sunrise Seto y lo separaría del Sunrise Izumo, o en un vuelo internacional de JAL a Londres. He estado volando tanto que me está empezando a volver loco. Quizás sea porque la copa de vino que me estoy tomando ahora mismo ya cuesta más que mi presupuesto diario de comida.

After leaving my last location, I arrived at one city at midnight. From there, I'd have to take another domestic flight and spend the night at my next destination. Since accommodation is expensive throughout the city, I decided to cut my daily food budget and save up for an airport hotel I'd always wanted to stay at. This hotel was converted from the building that served as the terminal from 1962 to 2001. So I have unlimited airplane views. I'm happy. I'm not a fan of this country or this city, and I love airports, so I'm content to just be here and watch the planes take off. Planes take off every minute. How wonderful. If I could be reborn as a vehicle, I'd become the Sunrise Seto overnight express and detach it from Sunrise Izumo, or a JAL international flight to London. I've been flying so much it's starting to make me crazy. Maybe it's because the glass of wine I'm drinking right now already costs more than my daily food budget.
