昨日は、バイトをするしがないみやげ屋の閉店時間まで姉といっしょに働いて、いっしょに母が待つ家まで歩き、3人でしゃべりながらたくさんご飯を食べました。今日はバイトが休みなので、いま暮らしている家まで歩いて帰りました。その道のり、約2時間。夜明けの川沿いの道はキレイだったし。公園を散歩をするひとたちと、朝のあいさつを気持ちよくできたし。やっぱりキリンのまつ毛はすごかったし。パンダを見て笑ったし。登校する友だちを驚かせようと壁のむこうに隠れていた小学生に、わたしが驚いて笑ったし。行くときは空っぽだったザックには、朝早く出発するわたしのために、母が作ってくれたお弁当が入っているし。だから背中がとても温かいし。だから、今日という一日の人生はとてもいい。いい人生。

Ayer trabajé con mi hermana hasta la hora de cierre en la tienda vieja de regalos luego caminamos juntas a la casa donde mi madre nos esperaba, y las tres cenamos charlando. Hoy es mi día libre, así que caminé de regreso a la casa donde vivo ahora. La caminata fue unas dos horas. El camino a lo largo del río al amanecer era hermoso. Disfruté intercambiando saludos con la gente que paseaba por el parque. Como era de esperar, la jirafa tiene pestañas increíbles. Me reí de los pandas. Me reí sorprendida de un estudiante de primaria que se escondió detrás de un muro para sorprender a sus amigos de camino a la escuela. La mochila que dejé vacía contiene la caja de la comida que mi madre me había preparado, ya que salía temprano esta mañana. Y la espalda estaba muy abrigada. Así que, la vida de hoy es buena. Una buena vida.

Yesterday I worked with my sister until closing time at the old gift shop, then we walked together to the house where my mother was waiting for us, and the three of us had dinner chatting. Today is my day off, so I walked back to the house where I live now. The walk was about two hours. The path along the river at dawn was beautiful. I enjoyed exchanging greetings with the people strolling through the park. As expected, the giraffe has amazing eyelashes. I laughed at the pandas. I laughed in surprise at an elementary school student who hid behind a wall to surprise his friends on the way to school. The backpack I left empty contains the lunch my mother had packed for me, since I was leaving early this morning. And then my back was very warm. So, life today is good. A good life.
